Megan Ackerson

Megan Ackerson brings over 25 years of global experience as a multi-time Chief People Officer, with a proven track record in high-tech, SaaS, and hypergrowth environments. Her expertise spans enterprise, midmarket, public, and private equity organizations, where she has built agile HR functions that drive business growth, scale, and transformation while fostering positive cultures and employee experiences. 

Before joining One Inc, Megan introduced a comprehensive vision and strategy at Xactly to align compensation, performance, and talent initiatives with the company’s transformation into a platform solution, focused on enterprise expansion. Under her leadership, the company achieved positive eNPS scores, reduced regrettable attrition, and executed strategic workforce location shifts, resulting in a significant impact on EBIDTAC and profitability. 

During her time at Brillio, Megan led the HR function amid a period of rapid expansion, helping the company grow from 1,800 to over 3,100 employees in less than 18 months. Prior to that, she was instrumental in scaling Hitachi Vantara from 2,500 to 12,000 employees while driving a significant revenue increase, fostering innovation through IoT initiatives, and navigating nine acquisitions during a period of profound transformation. Megan has also held various globally operational roles at Cisco. 

Megan resides in San Jose, California, where she is a devoted soccer mom and co-parent to her 15-year-old twins, Charlie and Ava. She enjoys cooking, hiking, and audiobooks, sharing her home with an 85-pound German Shepherd mix named Momo, who is full of surprises and energy.
